ASG built the synthetic turf field at Woodland High in 2019, as part of a 3-part project with the county’s board of education, replacing the 3 natural turf fields at the county high schools.
A vandal rendered Woodland’s field past the point of repair over the summer of 2023, and ASG was tasked to repair the base beneath and returf the field, restoring it to its previous state.
Knowing the tight timeline with football season looming, ASG’s crew worked long hours and weekends to finish the field so the Wildcats would not miss too many home games. Early September they were playing on their field again! Thanks to our partners, Shaw Sports Turf, for their emergency turf order, and to the team at Woodland High and Bartow County BOE for their continued faith in us! Go Wildcats!
