Adaptive Play Fields always hold a spot in our hearts and end up being some of our favorite projects. The scope of this project included demolition and removal of existing “miracle field” rubber surfacing and subsurface, with a replacement and installation of drainage system base for turf, as well as installation of new turf. The Field of Hope is home to the Challenger Division of Peachtree City Little League. It enables boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. The conversion to synthetic turf over the rubber surface accommodates children with a variety of disabilities and helps prevent injuries. We are excited to see Peachtree City enjoying their new field and the community rallying around the Challengers!
