Returning to Sandy Springs, where we’ve completed other projects for the Parks & Recreation departments, this was a slightly different scope that we enjoyed very much. Partnering with the team at Shaw once again, we used their Shaw Grass commercial and residential turf to create a gathering place for the community. Surrounded by the city offices and a mixed use residential/commercial property, the green and adjoining stage are used for festivals, concerts and general community gatherings. At any time you can catch a view of picnic lunches or an impromptu frisbee game happening on this lawn. We are honored to be a part of this vibrant community’s efforts to provide a clean and beautiful space for their employees and residents. The functionality and maintenance is superior to natural turf but feels just as luxurious and soft. We are excited to see how else the city plans to use their new gorgeous and eco-friendly green space!
