Terrell Mill Park, Baseball & Softball Fields

Project Description

Terrell Mill Park is a large multi-sport park in East Cobb County, Marietta, GA. Renovations of their baseball and softball fields took approximately 5 months to complete and included excavation of the existing fields, fresh natural turf on 2 outfields, and synthetic turf on the entirety of 2 fields plus the infields, and new concrete and fencing.

After working with Cobb County at Fullers Park in 2021, the county Parks & Rec department put Terrell Mill on the SPLOST budget docket. This grouping of 4 fields was easily combined together into one impactful project – renovating 4 fields at once using Shaw Sports Turf.

Installation of over 90,000 sq feet of Shaw Sports Turf’s Legion 1.75+ and custom logo, line and graphics packages creates a winning surface for the state community!

Our motivation is always the athletes and families who will enjoy the field and we are excited to see the community joining together at the park for the fall season.
